We, the undersigned citizens of the United States, respectfully petition Congress to propose and adopt a Constitutional Amendment to restore integrity, accountability, and true public service to our federal legislative branch. Our nation’s founders never intended for public office to become a permanent career, nor for elected officials to receive compensation and benefits vastly out of step with those they represent.
